Not all motion is dramatic enough to make it onto NBC’s Olympics telecasts. In fact, even seemingly inanimate objects can become quite animated indeed once the Florida wind takes over. Here’s a view of subtle motion from my Arlington home, as a heap of pollen and leaves deposited from nearby trees wiggles in the whistling wind. The camera’s stationary, mounted position accentuates the slight motions of the subject during the vigorous gusts.
Hope this 31-second clip inspires converged communicators to find some inspiring options for their own video projects.
