Even when most classes aren’t in session, the excitement in the converged communications world doesn’t end. This week, I’ve been covering a slew of stories for the Florida Times-Union, most of them from major events at EverBank Field. That includes the open practice session for soccer clubs Fulham and D.C. United on Friday afternoon, the exhibition match between the clubs on Saturday, the release of the world-record video boards and a Carrie Underwood concert Saturday night, and the nonstop action of high school media day as hundreds of local athletes flood the stadium for photos and interviews on Monday. It’s worth taking a look.
