Usually, in high school football, spectators come to see the action. From time to time, though, the action comes to them. Here’s the scene at Raines High School in Northwest Jacksonville, where the marching band forms an integral part of the football culture and the school’s tradition. On this special occasion, the 50th anniversary homecoming celebration against rival Jackson, the band entered the stadium while passing through crowds of spectators. When viewed at a distance of about 10 to 15 feet, the noise and intensity of the dramatic entrance becomes even more impressive.
